Active Schools Volunteer Awards
The Active Schools Volunteer Awards took place at the Apex Hotel at the weekend, honouring the best volunteers who promote sport opportunities for school pupils in the area.
Congratulations Megan Long (S6) and Samantha McIntosh (S5), awarded Young Ambassadors for their work with ‘Destruction’, an S2 dance group who took part in this year’s Dundee Secondary Schools Dance Festival.
Also congratulations to Mr Scrimgeour, our Principal Teacher of PE, who was awarded Secondary School PE Teacher Volunteer of The Year.
Well done and thanks to Amy McKay (S5) and Lara Taylor (S5), MCs for the evening, and Lisa Mitchell, our Active Schools Coordinator for all her hard work throughout the year.
