S5/6 Higher Modern Studies Conference
On Friday 22nd April, the Higher Modern Studies Class visited Morgan Academy to participate in a Revision Conference. They were joined by Higher Students from the other Secondary schools in Dundee with a total attendance of close to two hundred. During the conference, the pupils were given advice on how to tackle 12 and 20-mark essay questions as well as strategies to answer enquiry skills questions. The Conference ended with a research task on the manifesto promises of the parties contesting the Scottish Elections on May 5th and a mock election with the SNP winning a clear majority.
